Each spring in Japan, people gather outdoors for hanami — cherry-blossom viewing — a centuries-old tradition that celebrates nature’s beauty and the arrival of a new season. Our Hanami Collection grows from that spirit. Created in collaboration with Dandelion Japan, this 15-bonbon set translates the flavors of cherry-blossom festivals (sakura matsuri) into confections — with the same ingredients you'd find wandering through festival stalls in Japan.
A guest favorite since its debut in 2022, the Hanami Collection returns for a limited springtime run. This year, we've added two new bonbons: Peanut-Matcha & Jelly and Aged Sake. They join perennial favorites made with artisanal ingredients sourced from across Japan: fifth-generation-roaster black sesame seeds, Japanese whisky, and Okinawa sugar. These bonbons capture the creative exchange between our San Francisco and Japan teams, and the traditions that inspire our makers.
